You will have the opportunity to root your major studies in the humanities or social sciences and expand your education to meet the demands of an ever-changing job market, and develop as a lifelong learner who approaches issues from multiple perspectives.
General Education Courses
As a bachelor’s level student, you are required to take about 30 credits of general education courses as part of the 120 credits required for a bachelor’s degree. Gen eds are required regardless of your major.

Earning an Interdisciplinary Studies degree allows students to study the concepts and practices of interdisciplinary inquiry, writing, critical thinking, and problem-solving between disciplines. Students will examine different disciplines of learning and be introduced to what interdisciplinary study is, how it is related to, yet distinct, from the individual disciplines.
