About Dr. George E. Koonce
Dr. George E. Koonce’s journey is proof that education changes lives. From his time as a linebacker for the Green Bay Packers—winning Super Bowl XXXI—to earning a doctorate in Sports Administration, Dr. Koonce’s story is a testament to hard work and determination. “Many kids dream about playing in the NFL, but few will make it,” says Dr. Koonce. “I want them to see there’s a world of opportunity when they earn a college degree.” With a career dedicated to building partnerships and empowering others, Dr. Koonce is now inspiring the next generation of leaders through this scholarship program.
