University Collaboration Credits

University Collaboration Credits (UCC), also known as Dual Enrollment, offers an opportunity for students attending high schools that partner with Marian University to take college-level courses at their high school. These agreements allow qualified students to earn college credit that can also be applied to the completion of their high school diploma. Admission requirements for UCC differ from those of degree-seeking students.

UCC courses taught in the high school carry the same course number and credit weight as the comparable course taught at Marian University. For further information, contact Jill Carlson: jmcarlson80@marianuiversity.edu or 920-923-7155.

How it works:

Ask your high school guidance counselor if your high school partners with Marian University on UCC. The high school starts the process of selecting potential students by screening the applicants for the UCC Program.

To be eligible for acceptance, students must meet the following criteria: Have taken the appropriate prerequisite course(s), where applicable, and have achieved a grade point average of “B” within the appropriate discipline. The applicant also must rank in the top 25% of their class OR be earning a GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale, OR Score in the top 25% of the most recent standardized test (PSAT or ACT)

Final approval to participate in the program will be granted jointly by the high school and the university, with the high school initially determining eligibility. No formal application process through the Marian University Admissions Office is required for the UCC program.

Tuition for all UCC courses is $99 per credit and will be billed directly to each student’s home address. Any financial questions should be directed to the university’s Business Office at 920-923-8520.

Students wishing to continue at Marian as degree-seeking students are required to submit an application and follow any other steps for enrollment as a First-year Freshman.
