Marian University men’s lacrosse (6-1, 0-0 NACC) used a quick start to defeat Cornell 10-6 at home.

- Marian opened the scoring for the third quarter before Cornell built momentum with two goals to end the third.
- This put Marian ahead 7-3 heading into the final stanza.
- The Rams were able to score the first two goals of the final period and trim its deficit to two.
- Marian was able to respond with two quick goals separated by just 42 seconds to build some breathing room.
- The two squads would trade goals at the end to put the final at 10-6.
- Marian outshot Cornell in all four quarters finishing with a 55-31 advantage.
- The Sabres went 22-for-29 (.759) on clears and limited to Cornell to just 25-of-41 (.610) and forced 39 Ram turnovers.
