MILWAUKEE – Senior Derek Wills of Marian University men’s volleyball has been selected as the NACC Defensive Player of the Week.
Wills (Dubuque, Iowa) led the Marian back row recording 32 digs for a 3.2 digs per set average as Marian earned three wins in its home tournament. Wills opened the season with a double-double against Olivet recording 14 kills with 11 digs. He then had another double-double against North Park recording 13 kills with 14 digs. He also had a solo block against the Comets and assisted on a block against the Vikings.

Marian hits the road for Trine Saturday, January 27 for a 5 p.m. (CST) first serve in non-conference action.
