Marian University men’s volleyball (12-9, 5-4 NACC) was swept at home for the first time this season falling to St. Norbert 25-18, 25-21, and 25-22.
- St. Norbert held an early 11-10 lead before going on a 9-1 run to take a 20-11 advantage.
- Marian scored five points straight to cut the deficit down to four points but SNC would score four of the final points to take the opener.
- The largest lead for most of the second set was just three points.
- The Sabres held a 20-19 lead before St. Norbert rallied to take the set scoring six of the final seven points.
- Marian held an early 8-6 lead to open the third set.
- St. Norbert then went on a 7-3 run to go ahead 15-9.
- The Sabres were able to cut the Green Knight lead down to two points on several occasions but SNC was able to hold off the rally for a sweep.
- SNC had a 48-34 edge in kills over Marian and hit .312 for the match.
- The Green Knights also had a 41-32 advantage in digs.
- This is the first time Marian has lost to St. Norbert in the all-time series.
