MILWAUKEE – Marian University ACHA D3 (7-8-1) fell to MSOE on the road by a 6-3 final.

The Sabres got out to a slow start allowing the Raiders to score four goals in the opening period.  Marian was able to open the second period with a goal from Eric Sessoms at the 4:57 mark, assists to Ethan Koskelainen and Alex Lindeman.  MSOE would extend their lead back out to 5-1, however, with a goal in the final 10 seconds of the period.  Kaden Hansen lit the lamp to open the third period, assists to Cole Hales-Main and Serge Simard, before MSOE scored with just under five minutes remaining.  Sessoms made things interesting in the final minutes with his second tally of the game, assists to Hansen and Jonathan Bruno, but Marian was unable to pull any closer.

Marian finished with a 38-33 advantage in shots for the game with Brendan Keeler stopping 27 shots between the pipes for the Sabres.

Marian closes out the season with a two-game series at Iowa State Jan. 28-29.
