Marian University women’s tennis (0-5, 0-2 NACC) split the singles matches but fell to MSOE by a 6-3 final in their home opener.
Marian continued to have a tough time in doubles action but the top spots in singles once again provided a bright spot on the day. Carly Paulson and Aeryn Olson were both able to stay unbeaten in NACC singles action with Paulson taking the top flight with a pair of 6-1 wins. Olson then earned a 6-3, 6-1 victory to improve to 3-1 at the No. 2 flight this season. Katrina Pokorny was able to earn her first singles victory of the season taking the No. 4 flight 6-4, 6-2.
Marian hosts their only doubleheader of conference play hosting Edgewood and Wis. Lutheran Saturday, Sept. 18.
