Marian University women’s hockey (0-4-0, 0-2-0-0 NCHA) fell to a St. Norbert squad that is receiving votes in the national poll by a 5-0 final in a non-conference game.

  • The Green Knights got things going quickly scoring just 2:04 into the game.
  • Marian was able to limit the damage to just a 1-0 deficit headed into the first intermission.
  • The Sabres bounced back with a better second period but allowed two goals, one on the power play, for SNC to go ahead 3-0.
  • The Green Knights closed out the game with another pair of even-strength goals in the third period.
  • St. Norbert finished with a 50-18 advantage in shots recording double-digit shots in all three periods.
  • Marian was scoreless on three power-play chances, while SNC scored once on three opportunities as well.
  • The Sabres narrowly won more draws by a 32-28 clip.
