- Marian was able to limit the damage to just a 1-0 deficit headed into the first intermission.
- The Sabres bounced back with a better second period but allowed two goals, one on the power play, for SNC to go ahead 3-0.
- The Green Knights closed out the game with another pair of even-strength goals in the third period.
- St. Norbert finished with a 50-18 advantage in shots recording double-digit shots in all three periods.
- Marian was scoreless on three power-play chances, while SNC scored once on three opportunities as well.
