KENOSHA, Wis. – Marian University women’s bowling averaged 179.2 pins, 11,828 pins in total, to place 14th at the Motiv Ladyjack Classic.

  • Marian opened strongly in Baker play putting up scores of 978 and 982.
  • The Sabres showed consistency in the final three Baker games to finish at 4,531 pins.
  • Marian then had the 10th-best traditional score of the event at 4,624 pins.
  • The Sabre were once again extremely consistent in their scoring with a low game of 884 and high game of 943.
  • Marian squared off against McKendree in the opening round of bracket play and took the second game 165-159 but were defeated in five games.
  • The Sabres then went back-and-forth with UW-Whitewater in the second round of bracket play, but would fall to the Warhawks in seven games.
  • Marian had a 229 and 200 in the match-up against the Warhawks.
  • The tough defeat against UWW carried over into the final match of bracket play as Marian would fall to Lewis in four games.
  • Marian was the top finisher from the CCIW in the event.
