Sabre Men’s Tennis Earns Pair of Singles Wins Versus Lakeland

KOHLER, Wis. – Marian University men’s tennis (0-9, 0-7 NACC) opened the final weekend of NACC play falling to Lakeland 7-2.

• The Muskies were able to open with a 3-0 lead with victories in all three doubles matches.
• Nathan Hunter earned his first victory at the top flight of singles with a 6-4, 1-6, 10-2 win.
• Derek Wills improved to 2-0 on the season in singles play with a 2-6, 6-4, 11-9 win at the No. 2 flight.
• Lakeland was able to hold off any thoughts of a comeback with sweeps at the No. 3 and No. 4 spots along with default wins at the bottom two flights.
