MILWAUKEE – Marian University men’s soccer earned 135 points in the NACC preseason poll and was picked to finish in ninth place, as voted on by the head coaches and sports information directors of the conference.

Marian returned to postseason action for the first time since 2017 in the spring version of the 2021 season after going 4-5-0 with a 3-4-0 NACC ledger.  Marian nearly pulled off an upset of MSOE in the opener of the NACC North Tournament but fell to the Raiders in double-overtime.  MSOE eventually was able to earn the NACC North championship.  Between the four Sabre victories during the shortened season, the Sabres allowed just one goal.

The Sabres had four All-NACC selections at the end of the season with three of those honorees also earning All-Wisconsin recognition.  Sophomore Chase Hayden was able to earn his second All-NACC selection in as many seasons along with earn an All-Wisconsin second-team selection. Dominican received 24 of the 26 first-place votes to lead the poll with 335 points.
