Marian University men’s basketball (15-11, 12-4 NACC) was eliminated from the NACC Tournament after falling to St. Norbert 75-65.
- Marian took an early 9-5 lead on St. Norbert before the Green Knights went on a 21-5 run to go ahead 26-14.
- SNC was able to build its lead to as large as 14 points in the opening half and went into the half ahead 42-31.
- The Sabres were able to get out to a strong start in the second half opening with a 13-5 run to cut their deficit down to three points.
- Marin would trail just 55-53 with 8:20 left in the game before SNC used a 12-1 to pull away for good.
- The final score would eventually settle at 75-65.
- Marian went just 22-of-54 (.407) from the field and 12-of-35 (.343) on three-pointers.
- St. Norbert was 25-of-46 (.543) from the field and 8-of-16 (.500) from beyond the arc.
- The Sabre defense forced 12 SNC turnovers and outscored the Green Knights 17-9 in points off turnovers.
- The Green Knights held a 28-16 advantage in points in the paint.
- Marian finishes the season with the fourth-best win percentage in the NACC era.
