JANESVILLE, Wis. – Marian University men’s golf carded rounds of 322 and 334 to finish in 16th at the Culver’s Edgewood Fall Classic.

  • The Sabres opened the tournament in 16th after a 322 in the first round and stayed in that spot after a second round score of 334.
  • Jake Mooring finished 10-over par to lead the Sabres after recording rounds of 75 and 77. Mooring led Marian each round and finished in a tie for 37th.
  • Jackson Blaine had a strong opening round where he finished with a 76 before an 85 on day two.
  • Kaden Hansen saw a three-stroke improvement between rounds with an 87 and an 84, while Jordan Butler scored in each round with an 84 and 88.
  • Davis Wilson rounded out Marian with a 92 and 89.
  • UW-Stout won the event by eight strokes over Lake Forest with a two-day total of 578. Carter Ruegsegger of Dubuque earned medalist honors by one stroke after finishing the event two-under par.
