MONTGOMERY, Ill. – Marian University baseball (7-11, 3-5 NACC) was defeated 4-0 and 10-0 in eight innings by No. 19 Aurora.

The Sabres managed just two hits in the opener of the doubleheader with the Spartans using a big fifth inning to pull away.  Aurora was able to plate three runs in that inning and added an insurance run in the eighth.  Senior Jonah Landowski (3-1) had a solid start going 6.0 innings allowing just three earned runs with five punch outs.

Aurora was able to cap off the sweep holding Marian scoreless once again in an eight-inning game.  Six different Sabres had a hit in the defeat, while freshman Dylan Davis went 1.2 innings without allowing a hit in relief.

Marian is scheduled to next travel to Illinois Tech Saturday, April 16 for a noon NACC doubleheader.
