- Marian eventually found themselves ahead 21-19 only to have the Eagles go on a 6-1 run to end the set.
- Using the momentum from the strong finish, Edgewood opened the fourth set ahead 16-5.
- Marian wouldn’t go away quietly going on a 15-4 spurt that tied the set at 20-20.
- Edgewood was able to bounce back, however, and had another strong finish ending the match on a 5-1 spurt.
- Marian held a slim 47-44 edge in kills and outhit Edgewood .211 to .172.
- Each front row had a busy match with the Sabres recording 11 blocks to 10 for Edgewood.
- The Eagles held an advantage in digs at a slim 61-56 margin.
- Edgewood has now won 20 matches in a row over Marian.
