The global pandemic created a new landscape, forcing successful businesses to pivot. Marian University is excited to be introducing two new academic programs to address business needs: Bachelor of Business Administration in Operations and Supply Chain Management and Master of Science in Instructional Technology and Design. “Both programs will provide students with courses designed to address issues in their local and global economies. Graduates will be positioned at the forefront of their industry, prepared to respond to an evolving business world,” shared Tracey Marx, Director of Adult and Online Studies.
Both programs are 100% online and offer 7-week accelerated courses, so students may advance their education and propel their careers forward from the convenience of home.
The Bachelor of Business Administration in Operations and Supply Chain Management curriculum will introduce and strengthen students’ business operations knowledge in supply chain management, managerial finance, process and quality, and other operational areas that business professionals encounter on the job daily – especially in today’s ecommerce world. Applicants aspiring to have a career keeping goods moving and economies running or those already working in the field who want to earn a bachelor’s degree, are encouraged to apply.
The Master of Science in Instructional Technology and Design curriculum offers students a thorough understanding of how technology is used in professional settings, discover how to engage the learner through educational tools, and prepare to help others innovate and advance. Throughout this program, participants will be presented with numerous opportunities to increase design proficiency, enhance and develop curriculum, and incorporate technology into any professional setting. Applicants will desire to find practical and innovative solutions in teaching and training while applying their passion for technology. This program will be a great fit for a variety of professionals including: educators, human resource personnel, and trainers.
