MILWAUKEE – A total of 35 student-athletes between the Marian University NCAA men’s and women’s hockey programs have been named to the All-NCHA Academic Team.
A total of 242 student-athletes across the NCHA were honored tying the all-time record for the league set last year. The Sabre women were the top team in the NCHA setting a league record on the women’s side with 19 student-athletes being recognized. Lake forest also set a league record on the men’s side with 23 student-athletes being honored. The most notable winners from Sabre hockey are seniors Brooke Anderson, Melodee Eastman who are each earning the award for the third time.
