MILWAUKEE – Marian University men’s lacrosse received 27 points to finish the NACC preseason poll in eighth place, as voted on by the sports information directors and head coaches of the league.

Aurora, who also won the NACC Tournament and advanced to the regional semifinal round of the NCAA championship, scored the maximum 128 points and 16 first-place votes. Concordia University Chicago placed second with 109 points just ahead of Concordia University Wisconsin in third with 96 points.

Benedictine University is fourth with 75 points, followed by Edgewood College (57), Illinois Institute of Technology (43), Beloit College (41), and Marian University (27).

Marian hosts Carroll at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 2 to open the season.
