Marian University women’s volleyball (15-11, 7-6 NACC) sweeps Alverno on senior night 25-13, 25-21, and 25-6.

- Marian quickly went on an 11-3 run before the Inferno made things interesting behind a 12-3 run.
- The Sabres would close out set two with kills from seniors Kaitlyn Merrill and Anna Tapia.
- Set three was all Marian as the offense got hot behind an 8-3 run to open the set.
- Marian never looked back behind a dominant run to take set three easily 25-6.
- Marian held the advantage in every statistical category with the largest advantage in kills 40-22.
- The Sabres recorded 12 service aces to one by Alverno.
- Marian held a wide advantage in blocks 8-0 which is good enough for the third highest total blocks in a match this season.
- Marian clinches the No. 6 seed for the NACC Tournament with the victory. It will be the first postseason match for the Sabres since 2014. Marian will travel to the winner of CUW and St. Norbert, which is currently being played.
- The Sabres also finish with a winning record in conference play for just the second time in the NACC era.
