LISLE, Ill. – Marian University women’s soccer (3-3-2, 2-1-1 NACC) competed at Benedictine and earned a point after a scoreless draw.
Each team managed fours shots in the opening half with Benedictine finishing with an 11-6 edge for the category. Freshman Brianna Guelig and senior Ashley Welk each had a pair of shots.
Senior Amy Birner (1-2-2) turned in a strong performance making eight saves with five of her stops coming in the second half.
Marian travels to MSOE Wednesday, Sept. 28 for a 7 p.m. NACC match-up.
