Marian University women’s hockey has been picked seventh in the NCHA preseason poll, as voted on by the coaches of the league.

Four different schools earned first-place votes led by Adrian who icked up 60 points and five first-place votes. St. Norbert College received multiple first-place votes and finished with 54 points. Aurora earned the NCHA automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament a season ago and came in third with 49 points and Lake Forest was just one point behind the Spartans. Both Aurora and Lake Forest earned a first-place vote.

The remainder of the poll was a logjam with Concordia Wisconsin, Trine, and Marian all finishing within 10 points of each other. Finlandia earned 13 points and Lawrence finished with 10 to round out the poll.
