ROCKFORD, Ill. – Marian University women’s golf recorded scores of 365 and 374 to open the NACC Championship in second place.

The Sabres sat in a tie for second after recording a 365 in the opening round. The team total of 365 tied for the second-lowest round in program history, a record that was set earlier this year. The Sabres then finished with a 374 in the second round to give themselves a two-stroke advantage over Wisconsin Lutheran for second.

Ashley Graves recorded an 86 in the opening round, the lowest score of any Sabre thus far, and sits in seventh on the individual leaderboard with a 179. Amber Debolt shot a 92 in each round and is tied with Kayla Gray for 13th after Gray carded a 93 and 91. The 91 from Gray was the lowest score for Marian in the second round. Morgan Hernandez shot a 100 and 98, while Zoey Cruz-Eisenbraun finished with a 94 and 106 to round out the Marian lineup. Emma Anderson competed in the first round as well and carded a 93.

Marian travels to Quit Qui Oc Golf Club in Elkhart Lake, Wis. Oct. 7-8 to close out the NACC Championship.
