MILWAUKEE – Marian University women’s golf finished second at the WLC Quadrangular after shooting a 396.
Zoey Cruz-Eisenbraun led the Sabres finishing in a tie for fourth in the 18 golfer field with a 96. Just one stroke off of her pace was Kayla Gray with a 97, while Ashley Graves shot a 99. Sarah Lach concluded the scoring for Marian with a 104 and Samantha Gutzwiller finished 13th carding a 107.
Host Wisconsin Lutheran won the event by 17 strokes over the Sabres with a 379 and were led by Kaylea Affeld who shot an 87 for medalist honors.
Marian travels to Brighton Dale Golf Club Sept. 25-26 for the Midwest Region Classic.
