- Dubuque would build its lead out to 39-15 at the halftime break.
- Marian was able to bounce back in the final stanza outscoring Dubuque 20-15.
- Marian was limited to 15-of-56 (.268) shooting from the field, while Dubuque was 29-of-75 (.387) from the field.
- The Spartan defense forced 21 turnovers and outscored Marian 29-9 for points off turnovers.
- Dubuque also held a 38-14 edge for points in the paint and 14-4 advantage in fast-break points.
