Marian University has announced several promotions, effective immediately.
Kathleen Candee has been promoted to Interim Senior Vice President for Advancement and Alumni Relations. Holding a Master of Science in Curriculum and Supervision and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science/Pre-Law from UW-Oshkosh, she has more than 30 years of experience at Marian University, having previously served as the Vice President of Student Engagement and Title IX Coordinator. She is an Associate with the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes.
Jason Bartelt has been promoted to Interim Vice President for Student Life and Diversity, and Dean of Students/Director of Athletics. Previously the Director of Athletics, he earned his Master of Science in Education from Marian University and his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Kinesiology Science from Lakeland University.
Christine Martin is transferring to Director of Adult and Online Admission and Institutional Partnerships after serving as the Director of Institutional Partnerships and Community Relations. She earned her Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Bachelor of Organizational Communication degrees from Marian University.
Having previously served as Dean of Undergraduate Admission, Shannon LaLuzerne has been promoted to Assistant Vice President and Dean of Enrollment and will oversee all aspects of Marian University’s recruitment – including all undergraduate, graduate, and online students. With more than 25 years of experience working at Marian University, she also holds the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Bachelor of Science degrees from Marian University.
