MILWAUKEE – Marian University men’s volleyball picked up 215 points to finish sixth in the NACC preseason poll, as voted on by the head coaches and sports information directors of the league.
Dominican was picked as the favorite to win the conference earning 332 points with 20 of the first-place votes. Benedictine received the other six first-place votes to finish second in the poll at 318 points. MSOE, Aurora, and Concordia Wisconsin round out the group of six teams to earn more than 200 total points.
Marian has reached the NACC Tournament all three seasons there has been a conference postseason tournament. The Sabres have opened the season 5-0 with all of their victories being sweeps marking the second straight season the Sabres have won their first five matches of the season. Marian opened the 2021 campaign 7-0 which also serves as the longest winning streak in program history.
