MILWAUKEE – Marian University men’s volleyball (13-2, 2-0 NACC) held Wisconsin Lutheran to 13 or fewer points in all three sets defeating the Warriors 25-7, 25-6, and 25-13.

The Sabres spread out the offense in the victory with nine student-athletes recording multiple kills.  As a team, Marian hit .536 for the match with 34 kills to only four errors.  Sophomore Derek Wills led the way with a match-high seven kills off of a .538 hitting percentage.  Wills also finished with service aces and two total blocks, while sophomore Aaron Velasco also had a trio of aces.

The defense played just as well limiting WLC to just nine kills and a -.196 hitting percentage.  Velasco was able to lead the way for Marian with seven digs.

Marian continues a NACC road trip Friday, February 18 at Rockford for a 7 p.m. first serve.
