ROCKFORD, Ill. – Marian University men’s volleyball (14-2, 3-0 NACC) dominated Rockford 25-16, 25-13, and 25-17 to stay unbeaten in NACC play.

The Sabres finished with 33 kills in the victory and hit .414 in the final set after recording 15 of their kills.  On the defensive side, Marian held the Regents to a -.120 hitting percentage with six total blocks.  The second set was especially dominant for the Sabre defense as Rockford hit -.474 with only one kill to 10 errors.

Sophomore Derek Wills paced the Marian offense recording 11 kills, while senior Liam Skinner had three total blocks, one of which was a solo block.  Senior Zach Zelenik assisted on 28 Marian kills, and sophomore Aaron Velasco had a team-high seven digs in the back row.

Marian closes out the weekend at Aurora tomorrow, Saturday, February 19, for a 5:30 p.m. first serve.
