MADISON, Wis. / KOHLER, Wis. – Marian University men’s tennis (0-7, 0-5 NACC) was defeated 9-0 by Edgewood and 6-3 against Concordia Chicago.
- Emmett Marckese and John Daguinsin nearly took the No. 3 doubles flight against Edgewood falling 8-5.
- Payton Fox then bounced back after a 6-3 in set one of his No. 5 singles to win the second set 6-4.
- Fox would fall in the third-set tiebreaker 10-5.
- Marian had a strong start to doubles play against Concordia Chicago winning the No. 1 and No. 2 flight.
- Nathan Hunter and Chase Hayden teamed up to take the top flight 8-2, while Derek Wills and Jarod Luna took the No. 2 doubles 8-6.
- The Cougars were able to rally taking five of the six singles flights to earn the win.
- Wills earned the lone singles victory for Marian at the No. 4 flight 6-2, 6-0.
