CINCINNATI – Marian University men’s lacrosse (2-1, 0-0 NACC) scored double-digit goals in two of the four quarters defeating Mount St. Joseph 33-6.

  • Mount St. Joseph opened the scoring for the game but Marian responded with 11 unanswered goals.
  • The Sabres were able to take a 15-3 lead at halftime after scoring 11 goals in the second period.
  • The offense continued to fire as Marian outscored the Lions 8-2 in the third quarter and 10-1 in the final stanza.
  • Marian held a 71-32 edge in shots for the game and had an advantage of 52-32 for ground balls.
  • The man-up offense for the Sabres was able to score seven goals on eight chances.
  • The Sabre clear also had a strong performance going 15-for-16 (.938).
  • On the defensive end, Marian limited the Lions to eight successful clears on 18 chances and forced 34 turnovers.
