LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Marian University men’s lacrosse (3-1, 0-0 NACC) offense continued to dominate as the Sabres defeated Spalding 29-5.

  • The Sabres came out firing in the opening quarter outscoring Spalding 11-2 in the opening quarter.
  • Marian then shutout the Eagles the next two quarters and scored 12 goals to take a 23-2 lead into the final quarter.
  • After outscoring Spalding 6-3 in the final quarter, Marian sealed its third straight win.
  • Marian recorded 68 shots and limited Spalding to 16 shots.
  • The Sabres held a 62-25 advantage in ground balls.
  • The Marian defense forced 42 turnovers, held Spalding to 12-of-32 (.375) on clear chances, and didn’t allow a man-up goal on 14 opportunities.
