KOHLER, Wis. – Marian University men’s golf put together their best two-round total of the fall season to open the NACC Championship in fifth place.

Marian opened the NACC Championship with the third-lowest round of the season at 315 before tying for their lowest round of the fall season with a 308 in the second.  Patrick Treichel was able to pace the Sabres and sits in a tie for seventh after two rounds after carding a 73 and 75.  His 73 was the lowest round of any Sabre between the two rounds.

Caleb Martin finds himself in 21st after a five-stroke improvement between rounds with an 80 and 75, while Tyler DeMeuse improved by eight strokes with an 83 and 75.  Michael Cosenza had the second-lowest Sabre score in the first round with a 79 before shooting an 89 in the second round.  Rounding out the Marian lineup was Jake Bell who shot an 88 followed by an 83.

The final rounds of the NACC Championship will be April 24-25 from Stonebridge Country Club.
