JANESVILLE, Wis. – Marian University men’s golf shot a 324 followed by a 308 to finish in ninth place at the Edgewood Fall Classic.
Patrick Treichel led the way for the Sabres carding a 75 in round one followed by a 79 in round two to finish in 26th. Just one stroke behind Treichel was Tyler DeMeuse who shot an 80 followed by a team-best 75 in round two.
Caleb Martin was next in for Marian with an 80 and 75, while Michael Cosenza saw a 10-stroke improvement between rounds with an 87 and 77. Jake Bell rounded out the Marian lineup recording 87 in both rounds.
The host, Edgewood, won the team title by a stroke over Wisconsin Lutheran with Jordan Carlton of CUW earning the individual title for the event.
Marian travels to Eagle Ridge Resort for the Midwest Region Fall Classic Sept. 10-11.
