WAUWATOSA, Wis. – Marian University men’s bowling averaged a 1,025.87 and finished ninth at the Midwest Collegiate Championships.
The Sabres were able to finish with a 2,258 in Baker play and a traditional score of 6,080 to narrowly miss out on tournament play by just one spot. Ryan Dreikosen once again led the Sabres and finished 17th out of 379 bowlers. He averaged 223.8 pins over the course of all six games. Rylee Schwartz also competed in all six games and finished 109th after averaging 191.7, while Jason Claus averaged 213.8 over five games. Evan Rae also finished with an average over 200 at 210.3 competing in three games. Will Rouech scored a 181 in his lone game, while Nick Bresen averaged 189.6 over five games and Jaysen Spanbauer scored 189.5 on average over the course of four games.
The Sabres open Great Lakes Bowling Conference play with the first tournament Oct. 8-9 at Ashwaubenon Lanes in Green Bay, Wis.
