ANDERSON, Ind. – Marian University men’s bowling closed out the 2022-23 season at the Collegiate Club Championship.

  • The Sabres were able to qualify third after pool play earning four points in the Soward’s Pool.
  • Marian recorded a total score of 4,412 during pool play with a high game of 826 coming in the first set.
  • The 826 for the Sabres was also the second-highest score of any team in the entirety of the Soward’s Pool.
  • This earned Marian the No. 12 seed for tournament play.
  • The Sabres were able to open bracket play with a strong win over Indiana before falling to Coe in the second round.
  • Marian was able to bounce back in the contenders bracket knocking off UW-Stout and UW-Platteville.
  • The run for the Sabres would come to an end in the fifth round of bracket play against seventh-seeded Fresno State.
