DULUTH, Minn. – Marian University men’s hockey had 16 student-athletes earn NCHA All-Academic status and the Sabre women’s hockey program had 11 honorees, as announced by the NCHA.

To earn a spot on the NCHA All-Academic team a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30, and hold at least a sophomore standing.  A league-record 242 student-athletes earned All-Academic recognition from the conference.  The Marian selections were highlighted by seniors Taylor Derynck, Troy Ring, and Nathan Walker who earned their third accolade.
