Senior Logan Holevas of Marian University men’s soccer has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team.

The CSC Academic All-American program recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their efforts both in competition and in the classroom. To be eligible, a student-athlete must compete in half of their team’s games, be a key starter or reserve on their team, and attain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5. They must also hold at least sophomore standing at their institution.

Holevas (Lake Villa, Ill.) started in all 15 games and was one of the top scorers for the Sabres this season. He finished the season with four goals and two assists for 10 total points. He also netted a pair of game-winners and went 3-for-4 (.750) on penalty kicks. Holevas earned a NACC Offensive Player of the Week award after a five-point week that saw him lead the Sabres to wins over Saint Mary’s (Minn.) and Beloit. He closes out his career having started in 34 games over two seasons with six goals and nine helpers for 21 total points.

Holevas is majoring in business administration with a minor in marketing.
