HANCOCK, Mich. – Senior Paris Harris and sophomore Serina Pehowski of Marian University women’s basketball have each been named to the Finlandia Thanksgiving Classic All-Tournament team.

Harris (Hammond, Ind.) averaged 21.5 points per game on the weekend shooting 57.1-percent from the field and played a pivotal role in the 69-62 victory over Northland.  Against the LumberJills, she scored a game-high 26 points after making a season-high 11 field goals.  She would also narrowly miss out on a double-double after grabbing eight defensive rebounds.  Then against UW-Platteville, she scored 17 points in just 20 minutes of action adding a pair of assists.  Harris is averaging 15.3 points per game on the season with 5.5 rebounds per game.

Pehowski (West Allis, Wis.) stepped up after a slow start to the season scoring a team-high 18 points against UW-Platteville.  She would shoot 6-10 (.600) from the field in the defeat and was perfect from the charity stripe in six attempts.  Pehowski also grabbed eight rebounds with three being on the offensive end of the court.  On the season, Pehowski leads the Sabres averaging 6.0 rebounds per game.

Marian opens NACC play at home tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 30, taking on Rockford at 7 p.m.
