Marian University NCAA men’s hockey (7-10-0, 2-7-1-0 NCHA) scored three goals over the final 1:49 but fell to Lake Forest 4-3.

  • The Sabres controlled play for most of the opening period but neither team would find the back of the net.

  • Marian would win the ensuing face off and managed to get the puck into the zone but couldn’t get a shot off.
