DULUTH, Minn. – Junior Brooke Anderson of Marian University women’s hockey has been selected as the NCHA Offensive Player of the Week.
Anderson (Loves Park, Ill.) posted a six-point weekend to lead Marian to a sweep of Lawrence in NCHA action. She started it with offensive fireworks Friday, striking for a trio of goals and two assists in a 7-2 victory. She followed up the hat trick with an even more important effort, lighting the lamp Saturday for the only goal in the 1-0 decision over the Vikings Saturday. Anderson has scored eight goals in her last seven games.
