Social Work Bridge Courses Program

Marian University’s Bridge Courses, as part of the Social Work Training Certificate, are designed to provide a flexible, is an online pathway for students who are ready to advance their professional training. Offered throughout the academic year and summer, these courses allow you to complete required coursework on a schedule that fits your life—without compromising academic quality.

During the fall and spring semesters, bridge courses follow a traditional 15-week format with weekly due dates. All courses are delivered fully online, with optional opportunities to attend in person during the academic year. Payment plan options are available for these courses, and offerings are split between the fall and spring terms.

For students seeking an accelerated option, Marian also offers a summer cohort running from May through August. Summer courses are delivered in a seven-week format with flexible pacing—no weekly deadlines—though all coursework must be submitted by the final course end date. Please note that tuition for summer courses is due at the start of the term, and payment plans are not available.

To enroll, students must hold a current State training certificate prior to registration. Because course seats are limited, early registration—at least three weeks in advance—is strongly encouraged. These courses require strong computer proficiency and time-management skills to ensure success.

Marian University is committed to supporting your educational journey with clear expectations, accessible instruction, and flexible learning options. Explore how our Bridge Courses can help you take the next step forward.
