ADDISON, Ill. – Marian University women’s bowling went 6-1 for a second straight weekend to claim its third straight CCIW Championship.
- Marian was able to sweep its four matches of traditional play to open the weekend finishing with 3,344 pins, second most in the field.
- The Sabres had two games with more than 850 pins with a high of 903 in the third game.
- Marian had the best Baker score of any team in the conference but fell to Carthage in its first match 851-823 to finish 2-1.
- The Sabres finished with 2,606 pins and finished play with a 1,014 in the final match.
