Marian University women’s ice hockey (6-13-1, 2-8-0-1 NCHA) trailed by just one goal midway through the third but fell to Aurora 5-2.
- Neither team was able to light the lamp in the opening stanza with the Marian offense producing several high-quality scoring chances.
- Aurora was given a 5-on-3 power-play opportunity in the opening minutes of the second period and took advantage scoring at the 1:40 mark.
