Sabre women’s soccer shutout by CUW at home

Marian University women’s soccer (4-6-3, 3-4-2 NACC) allowed a pair of corner-kick goals as the Sabres fell to CUW 2-0.

The Falcons were able to score their goals at the 13:14 mark and the 52:23 mark. Marian finished the game with three shots, all of which were on goal. Sophomore Abby Larson, junior Lillian Giron, and junior Dallas Kreisa all had a shot for the Sabres. Senior Amy Birner (2-5-3) made a season-high 12 saves in the defeat.

Marian takes on Aurora Saturday, Oct. 15 at 2:30 p.m. to close out the week.
