JANESVILLE, Wis. – Marian University men’s golf shot a 363 to finish in 21st at the Culver’s Edgewood Fall Classic after rain canceled the second round.
Luke Bufton led the Sabres carding an 86 to finish in a tie for 85th with Michael Cosenza finishing just one stroke behind him. John Elsen and Jake Grabarek each shot a 95 to round out the Sabre scoring with Riley Hendrickson shooting a 99 to finish the Marian lineup.
Carthage earned the team title after finishing with a 301 and Evan Bridges of Carroll earned medalist honors with an even-par 72.
Marian next travels to the Washington County Golf Course Sept. 17-18 for the WLC Fall Invitational.
