MILWAUKEE – Sophomore Kiara Williams of Marian University women’s basketball has been named the NACC Player of the Week for the second straight week.

Williams (Warren, Mich.) averaged 26.5 points per game with 13.5 rebounds per game in a week which was highlighted by Marian beating CUW for the first time since 2010. Williams would go 14-of-26 (.538) from the field with a career-high 34 points and 15 rebounds in that win over the Falcons. She then had 19 points with 12 rebounds against Edgewood to close out the week. Williams now has 10 double-doubles on the season.
