MILWAUKEE – Marian University women’s basketball (7-18, 5-11 NACC) closed out the season falling at Wisconsin Lutheran 72-44.

  • The Sabre offense struggled in the opening half as Marian was limited to just 11 points.
  • This allowed Wisconsin Lutheran to build a 39-11 advantage at halftime.
  • Marian would put together a much better second half and kept pace with Wisconsin Lutheran as each team scored 33 points.
  • The Sabres would end their season on a high note outscoring WLC 17-11 in the final quarter.
  • Marian went 14-for-51 (.275) from the field and just 5-of-20 (.250) from beyond the arc.
  • Wisconsin Lutheran was 28-of-65 (.431) from the field and 9-of-23 (.391) on triples.
  • The Warriors had a 34-10 advantage for points in the paint.
