ATLANTA – Sophomore Allyson Nichols has been named the SAA Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Nichols (Little Falls, N.Y.) led Marian to victories over Sewanee and perennial powerhouse Rhodes over the weekend. She opened the SAA weekend with a seven-point game against Sewanee where she had three goals and an assist. Nichols then broke a 1-1 tie in the third quarter with a penalty-stroke goal that proved to be the game-winner in a 2-1 Marian victory. She has now scored six goals over her final three games with her helper against the Tigers to put her at 13 points. On the season, Nichols ranks second in the SAA with 14 goals, 32 total points, and three game-winning goals.
