ATLANTA – Freshman Emilee Clarey has been named the SAA Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Clarey (New Hartford, N.Y.) led Marian to a 2-0 win over Concordia Wisconsin to close out the regular season. She would stop all six shots she faced for her SAA leading fourth shutout of the season. It was also her highest save total of any of her shutouts this season. Clarey heads into the postseason allowing one or fewer goals in the final four games of the regular season. She made at least five saves in five of the final six games of the regular season.
